Stroud Homes Auckland North is Michael and Tilda Rabey’s family-run building company, based at the Warkworth show home and building everywhere north of the Auckland Harbour Bridge to Whangārei, coast to coast.
Michael started as a builder, qualified as a quantity surveyor, then moved through project management and spec building. Over 30 years in Auckland, most of it focused north of the bridge, that adds up to a rare thing: one person who has personally done the pricing, the paperwork and the building.
It shows up in the details that matter to your build. He knows the local suppliers and subcontractors by name, knows what Auckland, Kaipara and Whangārei councils each expect, and knows how to read the land and conditions this far north. What drives him is simple: homes that people are genuinely happy in, years after the keys change hands.
Tilda runs the office and looks after clients through the build. Between them and the sales team below, you deal with the same handful of people from first visit to handover.
